Episode 40: Inside the MotoAmerica Paddock - Exclusive Interviews from Circuit of The Americas 2025

What really happens behind the scenes at a MotoAmerica race weekend?

This week, Full Throttle Finance™ hit the paddock at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, to find out firsthand.

In this special on-location episode, Felicia takes listeners through the garages, pit lanes, and team tents that make up the heart of MotoAmerica. Friday at COTA is all about practice, prep, and calm before the chaos, which made it the perfect time to talk with the people who make race weekends run.

🎙️ Featured Interviews Include:

  • Andrew Lee – Stock 1000 Champion with Orange Cat Racing, reflecting on the final round and what makes Mid-Ohio and Road America fan favorites.

  • Jayson Uribe – sharing the hilarious thoughts that cross a racer’s mind mid-lap.

  • Kayla Yaakov – Supersport #19 with Rahal Ducati Moto, talking about racing, dogs, and staying grounded.

  • Brenden Ketelsen – the “extra set of hands” every team needs in the paddock.

  • Crystal Martinez – of Pit Stop Hydration, explaining just how much water and recovery it takes to survive race-weekend heat.

  • Anthony “Lug Nut” Norton – describing his Kawasaki’s personality in three words: “temperamental and hangry.”

The episode also highlights the 2025 MotoAmerica Championship winners, from James Rispoli in the BTR Build Train Race program to Cameron Beaubier, Mathew Scholtz, Kyle Wyman, and Alessandro Di Mario, who will hopefully move up to Supersport next season under the Rahal tent.

It was an incredible season of racing, and spending a weekend among these teams reinforced what we love most about motorsports — the mix of precision, personality, and pure grit it takes to compete at this level.

Thanks for watching, we will see you next Friday as we get back to finance conversations
