ABOUT CLEAN BEE CONSULTING
Sophisticated information. Accessible experiences. Intentional decisions.
We don’t make complex information less sophisticated. We make it easier to understand and act on. That idea shaped how this firm grew, and it shapes everything we hand a client.
Our history, one year at a time.
Started. Gathered the data. Reviewed, implemented and tested. Now we keep reviewing, implementing and testing, because the work is never really finished. Each step came from noticing what clients needed next.
Management roles across retail, hospitality, ecommerce and boutique accounting, where she worked with small businesses of every kind. A front-row seat to leadership, operational friction, budgets and cash flow.
Freelance projects in April. A full firm by year-end.
The name came from Felicia’s first business, Clean Bee Candle Company. (Yes, it’s also a play on “queen bee.”) She started in the paddock, where she already felt welcome, and began the Full Throttle Finance® trademark that fall.
An early client grew from a payroll project to bookkeeping to a remote, travel-heavy team, and its offerings kept expanding along the way. The books had to keep up with every new way the business made money, and that took controller-level support. Other clients showed the same patterns: new locations, second businesses, personal and business lives intertwined.
In September, we started tying operations to the financials. That fall, Hive Concierge started as a simple travel add-on for clients we were already serving.
With Alicia leading it, that add-on grew into its own service, Hive Ops, and now sits alongside Hive Events as the two arms of Hive Collective.
Full Throttle Finance® has always been our educational lens: a fun, approachable way to talk about financial literacy. Over time it expanded into athlete sponsorship, and now a cohort. Alicia’s operational support behind the scenes made it possible to confidently build the creative ideas Felicia had been brewing for years, alongside a core curriculum on financial and operational discipline and how to turn it into repeatable processes.
The Discipline Series is planned for January through March 2027. And the work keeps going.
Financial and operational discipline aren’t separate.
Financial discipline without operational awareness produces plans that look good on paper. Operational discipline without financial awareness produces efficient activity with no clear payoff. We work where the two meet.
Better information. Better judgment. More intentional decisions.
One firm. Three ways in.
Clean Bee Consulting is the firm. Hive Collective is our operational offering. Full Throttle Finance® is how we teach what we practice. Work with one, or with both practices together.
Two perspectives, one conversation.
Her favorite part of the job is the cleanup: what went wrong, how we fix it, and how we make sure it doesn’t happen again. Mostly, she wants to take the intimidation out of it. There are a few things she says to every client, no matter the situation:
“You don’t know what you don’t know.”
“You did the best you could with the resources you had. That changes moving forward.”
Sixteen years in management across retail, hospitality, ecommerce and accounting shaped how she reads a business. Off the clock she rides motorcycles and follows F1, and she built the firm around what she loves without making the firm about it.
Alicia’s favorite moment is when everything a client asked for comes together exactly as they pictured it: a plan so thoughtfully tailored that nothing is missing.
Sixteen-plus years in event planning and hospitality made logistics and contingencies second nature. She took what started as a simple travel add-on and turned it into Hive Collective.
“She finesses. She keeps things on track. She’s creative, she’s thoughtful, and she sees visions come to life.”
Felicia, on working with Alicia
Two perspectives. One coordinated experience.
For one motorsports athlete we work with, Felicia handles the finances and tax strategy, and Alicia handles the travel. Behind the scenes, they meet in the middle to make sure both are running as effectively as possible.
Sophisticated work. A human experience.
What working with us actually feels like, in the words we use with clients every day.
Start with the right conversation.
